We are seeking a new assistant gardener to work with our maintenance team. Tasks involve lawn mowing, edging, hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, mulching and much more. You’ll work under our qualified maintenance team leader with the opportunity to study Cert II or Cert III Horticulture (evening TAFE course).
Minimum Requirements
As we are based in Carrum Downs you will have the ability to get to and from the depot and will have your own car and manual drivers license. Any gardening experience will be looked upon favorably but is not absolutely required if you’re willing to learn.
- Own car / Manual drivers license
- Physically capable of manual labor
- Full working rights in Australia
Pay & Working Conditions
This is a full time role for 38hrs/week Mon-Fri with no weekend work. Penalty rates apply for overtime worked as per the Landscaping & Gardening Services award. Starting base pay rate will be above award rates commensurate with the successful applicants level of experience and qualificaitons.
