A brief history of Scenic Surrounds:
The Beginning
Starting in 2003, Scenic Surrounds catered mainly for the domestic market offering gardening and lawn mowing services. However, within a short time we changed our focus to cater more to corporate, council and industrial clients. Through hard work and refusing to compromise on our standards we established a good reputation within our industry.
New Directions
In 2014, we focused on growing our Slashing & Acreage Mowing division enabling us to provide open space & roadside lawn mowing, land clearing, and fire hazard control to local councils and private landholders. With the right equipment we wanted to ensure our customer’s properties were safe throughout the fire danger periods. Working in conjunction with our maintenance team, the slashing team were able to expand the number of services we offered and better equip us to meet our client’s needs.
Company Growth
In 2016 we incorporated and became Scenic Surrounds Pty Ltd. With the skills acquired through additional training, the company director was able to enhance Scenic Surrounds with strategic management, planning and marketing that enabled the company to continue to grow.
Throughout 2017 & 2018 we worked on growing our established maintenance and slashing divisions adding to our lineup of equipment thus allowing us to provide slashing services on a larger scale. With the ability to cut up to 30 acres of clean fields in a day and our continued research into providing vegetation management in developing land allotments, we were able to secure large contracts spanning across Victoria.
In 2020/21, like many businesses, we have reassesed and focussed our directions ensuring our stability within the dynamic economic climate. Securing our government contracts for consecutive years and continuously improving our compliance, documentation and quality of services offered, enabled us to continue providing our fire prevention and maintenance services to our valued clients.
